When we, the astrologers look up at someone chart, we try to locate the planet Mars- the position, house and aspects in his/her chart. Mars is the significant in every person as it shows if the person has enough energy, if he is in a good health or he is going to have troubles, fights, accident, surgery or even divorse.
Mars is the planet of energy, it shows our strengths, how our blood circulation works, how good are our muscles and bones. It shows if the person going to have courage and determination to achieve his goals or he/she will be slow moving and powerless. It shows how we exercise, how we work, how we have sex. If we have a good Mars in good aspects to other planets, especially Sun and Saturn and Uranus, we can expect to be in a good health and to have great energy and desire to live a better, healthy life.
Unfortunately, not everyone has a good Mars, or we call this Mars malefic or harmful Mars. If you have Mars in Libra- it is in his worse, lower position, as Mars in Libra like to eat sweets and doesn’t like to exercise, on the opposites- they like to indulge (food or alcohol) and have problems with kidney, or diabetes, or both, or problems with bones, joints, knees, ext.
Even if you have Mars in good signs, but if you have squares or opposition, or you have not learn how to control your energy, when your Mars have negative transits to other planets, as Saturn, Mars, Uranus or Chiron -you may have difficult to express or to control your energy and to have minor accident.
Someone may ask, how about Venus and Jupiter, Venus rule health, beauty and bring healing; Jupiter on the other hand brings good luck, best doctors and prosperity? How they influence our health? Are they are able to compensate Mars’s negativity? They might, they might not; again, depends of the strength of them, too. Venus encourage us to enjoy good food and have more pleasure, these are not always helpful, even more- Venus quality worsen our health condition, where Jupiter enlarge everything, especially if it has challenging aspect toward Venus and Mars, we may be weaker, have less energy and no desire to improve. The worst position of Jupiter in our chart, regarding our health is Jupiter in the 1st and 6th houses. In the first house Jupiter enlarge everything, including our waistline- many who have Jupiter in 1st house may be obese or at list overweight. With Jupiter in the 6 house of work and health, we may have tendency to overwork or to overeat, even worse- we may had lost our Stop for eating. The final results again are obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular deceases, some time, cancerous development.
How can we strength weak Mars and improve our energy, our desire for life and longevity? Mars is energy, adrenaline, it is vitality. We need to put it to work, to channel this enormous energy and to release the pressure- exercise, running, boxing, even humming or dancing can make us feels better. It is important- to release the energy!
If you notice that you are getting sick, have flue or any inflammation process- immediately go on diet. Stop eating sweets, red meat, eliminate heat ( it is caused by Mars- heat), you need to cool it up, as you drink plenty of water-3-4 litters a day. Eat only raw food as salad and fruits. Work whatever you can to increase your PH balance to stop the inflammation, cold or the flue. If the joints or muscles are involved, do slow exercise, go to physical therapy, eat food to increase your body PH balance, as lemons, limes, vitamin C, lot of berries. Many people make mistakes, as they think that red meat increase inflammation and seafood is a better healthy choice food- it is wrong! Seafood, especially scallops, shrimp, muscles, octopus, tuna, anchovies and more, they all increase the inflammation process, does not matter if it is a muscles or back pain or joints.
